Building Homes For Half A Century
TJG Construction is our own building company and has been a family business for half a century. We build all of our own properties and also compete on the open market for construction projects. We offer competitive quotations for all manner of building works both large and small, employing only local experienced and trusted tradesmen.
Based in the Cotswolds, our generations of experience have built an extensive range of properties from one and two bedroomed cottages right through to unique and exclusive four and five-bed houses.
Having spent our entire working lives in the Cotswolds we have gained extensive knowledge of the appropriate materials and traditional methods of fabrication that match both the area and the legislation required. We have used this knowledge and experience to build well-crafted and cleverly designed homes, maximising on the use of space, creating highly individual dwellings that are full of charm and character.
In today’s construction market, builders need to be flexible and have a wide-ranging knowledge and understanding of different techniques and materials to cater for a wide variety of ideas and designs. Here at TJG Construction, we use that expertise to build homes to match our clients’ needs - but also to create our own quality portfolio that is modern, vibrant and characteristic with a contemporary flair.
We are able to assist your at every step when designing, planning and building your dream home. We have undertaken many projects for ourselves, as well as for external clients, and provide a completely relaxed and enjoyable self-build experience. Please send any enquiry, large or small and it will receive our prompt and detailed attention, using the same team of tradesmen that have built our own properties.
We thoroughly enjoy renovating and extending old stone houses, including Listed Buildings, to create a modern masterpiece. A traditional Cotswold Stone building simply cannot be beaten in terms of sheer wow factor! Many older buildings have the potential to look amazing but are let down by simple wear and tear over the many years that they have stood against the elements, making them look tired and cold.
At TJG Construction, we have successfully renovated many classic Cotswold buildings to meet the superior modern day standards, whilst maintaining the charm and character that they were originally bought for. We are happy to help at all stages of the renovation process, from plan designs right the way through to the final external pointing. Please send any enquiry, large or small and it will receive our prompt and detailed attention, using the same team of tradesmen that have built our own properties.
Over a quarter of the heat in your home is lost through a poorly insulated roof! This is such an easy problem to fix, and the benefits are immediately recognisable.
Furthermore, the loft is an often overlooked space when families are looking to expand their home. We have many years experience in high quality loft conversions that are sympathetic to the aesthetic of your home, while providing that all important extra footage that your expanding family may need. Please send any enquiry, large or small and it will receive our prompt and detailed attention, using the same team of tradesmen that have built our own properties.
Even the most beautiful home can be overshadowed, or even ruined, by poor landscaping and management of the outdoor space. An excellent home deserves an equally excellent approach, and feel when outdoors. At TJG Construction, we have successfully planted many landscape schemes which have transformed a previously drab garden into a place of peace and tranquillity. Please send any enquiry, large or small and it will receive our prompt and detailed attention, using the same team of tradesmen that have built our own properties.
