Barchester Properties / Who Are Barchester Properties?
An Experienced Family Run Firm
Barchester Properties is an experienced family run firm who have been building houses in the heart of the Cotswolds for over half a century - and letting properties for the last fifteen years or so. Working within the Cotswolds has provided us with excellent local knowledge and an understanding of traditional methods of construction and renovation using indigenous natural materials.
We have a wealth of experience and take pride in all aspects of our work. We specialise in retaining all of the period character and charm that you expect to see featured in a Cotswold stone built cottage and have always worked together with a small group of experienced and trusted local tradesmen to create individual homes for our clients.
Using the same team we have also built our own portfolio of properties most of which are based in and around the village of Bourton on the Water and range from one bedroom cottages to three, four and five bedroomed houses.
Experience You Can Trust
We were the first professional private company to build and offer homes for rent in the village, before any of the main estate agents, often building brand new houses to offer straight onto the lettings market.
Since moving into the lettings market back in 1997 we have continued to extend our portfolio each year to create an extensive range of properties from period Cotswold cottages (some Grade II Listed) up to modern brick-built houses. With all of our building and letting experience, we are confident of catering to all aspects of construction as well as finding the right home for you.
